Timothy Taylor's Appoints Andrew Carter as CEO
- News
Timothy Taylor’s has appointed Andrew Carter as its new CEO. He will replace Tim Dewey, who has led the business since 2014 and has overseen a new era for Timothy Taylor’s as its first non-family CEO.
Timothy Taylor’s is an iconic British brand best known for its classic pale ale, Landlord.
Carter joins from Chapel Down, the Kent-based winemaker. He “made a significant impact” during his three-year tenure as CEO, establishing Chapel Down as the leading player in English wine, as well as leading the businesses’ market listing onto AIM earlier this year, Chapel Down said.
On his exit, Chair Martin Glenn said “Chapel Down has enjoyed huge success and celebrated several strategic milestones during Andrew’s time as chief executive and he should be very proud of what the business has achieved.
“The Board and I have enjoyed working with Andrew immensely and wish him every success in his new role leading another iconic British brand.”
Clarity would like to congratulate both Andrew and Timothy Taylor’s on the appointment.
